Chickens

We have had our two big girls, Mo and Penny blessing our abode since April of 2021.  Mo is a cream legbar and lays fun light green eggs.  Penny is a Novagen and lays pretty brown eggs.  They truly free range and love their  walks down by the river and "helping" dad work on vehicles.  LOL.  They are such characters.  

We added to the flock in March of 2024.  There are now two Color Pack (predominately blue), two  Dominant Copper (chocolate eggs) and two Silver Lace Sussex (brown eggs) joining Penny and Mo.  We are hoping to have eggs by July.  i will be building a dedicated area for these girls because that would just be too much poop all over the place.  LOL  It will be lots of room out in the garden area though where they will have access to grass and bugs and such.
